Useful For
This panel includes 15 key food allergens that have been selected to reflect common food atopy in adults and children. When used with a thorough patient history and physical examination, IgE allergen testing provides objective, quantifiable evidence of IgE-mediated allergen sensitivity. Allergen sensitivity may be associated with atopic dermatitis, gastrointestinal disorders, recurrent otitis media, allergic rhinitis and allergic asthma.

Testing Algorithm:
- If the Peanut Allergen is positive, the Peanut Allergen Component Panel will automatically be reflexed.
- If the Cow's Milk Allergen is positive, the Milk Allergen Component Panel will automatically be reflexed.
- If the Egg White Allergen is positive, the Egg White Allergen Component Panel will automatically be reflexed.
