Lavender top (EDTA) tube - Whole Blood
Trough level is most reproducible. Preferred collection time is 30 minutes prior to next dose.
Test is affected by moderate hemolysis and gross lipemia.

Please do not combine testing with Sirolimus. Draw and send separate tubes for both Sirolimus and Tacrolimus tests. Separate tubes are needed to add separate additives before testing.
