Collection Instructions:
1. Collect a freshly-voided, random urine collection.
2. No preservative.
3. Refrigerate specimen after collection and send specimen refrigerated.
4. Centrifuge aliquot before analysis.

Cutoff concentration: 150 ng/mL
The results from a cocaine analysis can be reported qualitatively as negative or positive relative to the 150 ng/mL cutoff for cocaine. Positive results are only preliminary and only suggest that the sample is likely to contain benzoylecgonine (cocaine metabolite). Negative results indicate that either the sample does not contain benzoylecgonine (cocaine metabolite) or that benzoylecgonine is present in concentrations below the cutoff level of 150 ng/mL.
