Cutoff concentration: 10 ng/mL

Preliminary positive results will be sent for confirmation testing.

Negative results indicate that either the specimen does not contain buprenorphine or that buprenorphine is present in concentrations below the cutoff level of 10 ng/mL.


False positive results may be caused by interfering substances.  Results of this test should always be interpreted in conjunction with the patient’s medical history, clinical presentation, and other findings.
