Useful For

Patients with suspected allergic rhinitis and/or asthma symptoms.  When used with a thorough patient history and physical examination, IgE allergen testing provides objective, quantifiable evidence of IgE-mediated allergen sensitivity. Allergen sensitivity may be associated with atopic dermatitis, gastrointestinal disorders, recurrent otitis media, allergic rhinitis and allergic asthma.

Specimen Volume: 3 mL

Collection Instructions: Centrifuge and separate serum from cells within 2 hours of collection.  Send refrigerated.
