Useful For

The diagnosis of Tularemia.  Tularemia (rabbit fever) is caused by Francisella tularensis, a gram-negative, non-spore forming bacterium.  F. tularensis is endemic throughout North America and Eurasia and is one of the most infectious pathogenic bacteria known.
